 Who we are
Greetings in the name of
our Lord, Jesus Christ!
What we believe
in a nutshell:
We believe the Bible is
inspired and empowered by God, infallible and
authoritative. There is One eternal God who
exists as three separate persons; the Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is
the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless
life as He walked among men, demonstrated the
authority and power of God in works and speech,
died on the cross, rose from the dead on the
third day, and is now seated at the right hand of
God having accomplished all that is necessary for
man's salvation. We believe it is essential for
man to repent of sin and by faith receive the
finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord
with his mouth and believing in his heart
resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. We
believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He
started at Pentecost empowering believers to live
a godly life and continue in all the works of
Jesus. We believe in the imminent return of Jesus
and that those who have believed in Him will be
resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an
incorruptible body, and those who do not believe
will join Satan and his host in everlasting
punishment. We believe the true Church is
composed of all born-again believers in Christ,
regardless of denominational affiliation. We
believe all born-again believers have been
commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all
the world.
When we
started:
This is a virtually new
ministry, starting up in October, 2004. Many
changes have taken place in less than two years.
Although one of the founders has been called in a
different direction, both of us are still
committed to advancing the Kingdom through every
available avenue God grants us.Our name comes
from a time in prayer that God gave: a woman's
ministry dedicated to the furthering of the
Gospel, just like Lydia..
Our committment
to excellence:
We are committed to
bring to you items, as they arise, to aid you in
your walk with God in your business ministry. We
are excited about our first project,
"Meditations for Success", a tape of
less than 20 minutes long that will help you
focus on what God wants to do in and through you.
We are thankful for all the volunteers on this
project and pray that your seed time with us is
repaid by our Father 100-fold.
Our
committment to say what the Father says:
We are not for
profit in the sense that all proceeds from
love gifts and items go
directly back into the ministry.
Because we want to maintain our rights of the 1st
Amendment of Freedom of Speech we have choosen
not to be tax exempt. We are totally independent
and privately owned. We want to maintain the
ability to speak openly to issues and areas we
feel need to be addressed without limitations.
Your donation is not tax deductible. Your
donation is directed to assisting us to spread
the Gospel through Lydia's Legacy
Ministries. We have choosen the freedom to teach
God's Word and teach it without reservation.
