The Untapped Power of the Prophetic

Part II - Proper Response to the Birthing Process

The Untapped Power of the Prophetic

In our last teaching, we begin to talk about the importance of the true prophetic voice to rise up in this hour. First we begin to uncover how the enemy counterfeits the prophetic through occult practices and witchcraft. Then we come to realize that witchcraft can happen within the four walls of the church. This can happen through manipulation and soulish prophetic words given to people, with the intention to control the hearers. Therefore, it is vital for the people of God to learn how to judge prophetic words accurately inline with God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. With the Word but without the Spirit, we DRY up. With the Spirit but without the Word, we BLOW up. With the Word and Spirit in perfect union in our hearts, we GROW up.

In this part, we want to uncover what God wants us to do, when we are tested by our words.

When God speaks a word to us, it comes to our heart as a form of seed. What do you see in a seed? Well for most of us, we only see a small particle, weak and ready to be blown away. But can you see an apple within a seed. Can you see a garden of apples within a seed? The seed contains potential - the potential to birth new things.

“Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” – Isa 42:9

How does God “tell you of them”? God does it through prophetic words. Before God wants to birth new things in you life, He will reveal it through prophetic words given to you. It will come into our hearts as a seed form, and a few criteria will determine how this seed will grow.

Let us examine the spiritual weather for the maturing of God’s prophetic words.
